Protect
Teak has a natural, soft, golden brown colour. In order to retain this colour, teak should be treated with a protector. Often people choose to leave teak untreated. In that case, it will fade to silver-grey in a natural way. The level of maintenance, therefore, depends on the desired colour. Regular treatment, using a protective coating is recommended to prevent teak from getting weathered.
Cleaning
Grease stains on teak furniture can usually be removed easily using detergent and plenty of tepid/warm water. In case of weathered surfaces or stains which are more difficult to remove, a cleaner may be the solution.

This innovative, in-house developed textiline feels like fabric but is equally strong and weatherproof as plastic. SensoTex furniture can be left outside throughout the year, it is our renowned standard in outdoor furniture.
Protect
SensoTex has synthetics characteristics and is, therefore low-maintenance and easy to clean. SensoTex furniture can be left outside throughout the year, but should you wish to optimally protect it (for example, against UV radiation), it is advisable to store the furniture during the autumn and winter.
Clean
SensoTex is easy to clean with tepid/warm water. Tough stains can be removed, using detergent and Suns Lifestyle Easy Cleaner. Never use aggressive detergents or abrasives on SensoTex, as these can damage the material.

Water repellent cushions have a protective layer that prevents water from being absorbed. Treating the cushions will not be necessary. It is important, however, to store the cushions when they are not in use. Please note that there is a difference between water repellent and waterproof. Although water repellent cushions can handle some moisture, they are not resistant against lasting exposure to water. Lasting exposure to rain will result in the cushions absorbing moisture.
