Add shade and privacy with the Deluxe Screen. Compatible with the Maranza Deluxe Pergola, crafted from a superb contract fabric with incredible durability, specially formulated from yarns developed to withstand wear and tear for many years of outdoor use. The updated model of side cassette adds an element of weatherproofing, allowing you to enjoy your outdoor area with added protection from the wind and rain due to the side of the screens being zipped into the frame.
These are available in all sizes to fit in-between each legs. Be sure to take a look at the floor plan to make sure you pick the right size for your model.
Please note that if you are purchasing to install yourself onto your Maranza Deluxe model, you will need a riv-nut tool for installation. Please also note that screens can only be purchased as additions to existing SUNS Lifestyle orders.

Create a perfect garden oasis with the Maranza Deluxe Screen adding a touch of shade and privacy to your pergola.
Built with spring-loaded runners meaning you can pull down and fix the screen at three different stop positions, and then when released they will roll back into its casing. They are slightly transparent allowing light in but provides shade and privacy to your terrace. This updated model of side cassette adds an element of weatherproofing, allowing you to enjoy your outdoor area with added protection from the wind and rain due to the side of the screens being zipped into the frame.
As with the rest of the SUNS Lifestyle range, these Deluxe Screens are built with the highest quality aluminium casing and screen fabric made from Textilene, a PVC coated woven polyester non-stretch yarn – it is unrivalled for strength and is also flame retardant, heat sealable, mildew resistant and stable under either hot or cold temperatures. Tested up to wind force 4.
These screens require minimal maintenance, with colours that remain crisp and vibrant after years of continuous outdoor exposure, even under the most severe weather conditions.
The Deluxe Screen is an upgraded version of the Galaxy Sun Screen and so zips into your Deluxe Maranza Pergolas legs, enabling an element of weatherproofing, allowing you to enjoy your outdoor area with added protection from the sun, wind and rain.
These are the standard option if you choose to add them when purchasing your Maranza Deluxe Pergola.
All of our Pergolas come with full assembly instructions and can be easily self fitted with basic DIY knowledge, as well as ideally two more people to help, plus an array of tools. Please note: DO NOT use dent holes in legs as a guide for fitting screen. Instead fit screen 5mm from the front so that the deluxe screen is as close to from edge as possible.

A natural fall of ideally 15mm is required to allow the water to drain away as designed and for the screens to be fitted correctly, which by building regulations, your patio likely already has. Our install team can use packers under specific legs to ensure the complete gazebo works correctly should the fall of the patio level be different to the above, and by using our installation service you are agreeing to our team using packers under the footplates in such instances.

The side-screens are made from the highest quality Textilene. Unrivalled for strength and beauty, Textilene is made of PVC coated woven polyester non-stretch yarn which is flame retardant, heat sealable, mildew resistant, and stable under either hot or cold temperatures. Textilene is also a superb contract fabric in terms of durability, specially formulated from yarns developed to withstand wear and tear and has been tested up to wind force 4.
What is the difference between the Maranza Deluxe Screen and Galaxy Sun Screen?
Both options are produced with hardened aluminium, powder coated casing and durable Textilene mesh. The sun screens should be used for shade and privacy only, they can be left down in mild wind and rain but must not be left down in higher winds or overnight.
The deluxe screens are our updated model, they are built into the sidetrack of the pergola frame, which makes them much stronger and will not allow them to flap in the wind. This screen will shelter from moderate winds and protect from rain whilst using the structure.
Can side options be added at a later date?
Yes, all side option configurations can be retro fitted to an existing pergola frame. Please note this will incur an additional installation charge of £200 should you decide to add these at a later date. The charge will not occur if the screens are installed at a later date due to not being in stock at the time of order and our install team will return to fit at no extra cost once back in stock.
